It scales with how many sessions you run at once. A single account serializes requests when several sessions compete for the same 5-hour, TPM, and RPM windows — so a round of agent activity that clears quickly at one session can stall for minutes once you have 5–10 running. Balanced Mode spreads those sessions across every account in your pool, so each round finishes in a fraction of the time.

As a model: time per round ≈ T0 × max(1, sessions ÷ accounts). At 10 concurrent sessions across 5 accounts that is about 5× faster, typical — and the real-world gap widens further when a single account hits its TPM and RPM ceilings at once.
